1. At work. Monday I left at 6 a.m. to take J to Grandma and Grandpa’s and didn’t get home until after a yearbook “party”–that was after 9 p.m. when you take into account the time I spent lugging the garbage to the end of the driveway. The rest of the week was shorter, but…
2. I’ve chained to the computer in my home office. Between the random design jobs I’ve picked up, I’ve also gotten orders. Yesterday, there were five from Etsy in my mailbox when I got home. I’m happy, yes, but a little shocked at the same time :) I’m having to reorder lots of things, PLUS thinking seriously about getting a continuous ink supply system.
3. Loving up that baby ‘o mine. J was at the ‘rents house for three days, and I missed him. Terribly. So, I’ve spent quite a bit of time cuddling and putting my face close to his, grinning to see if he’ll grin back. And, he’s such a kid now. The “no’s” are sounding so emphatic. He talks about things he finds interesting, although I’m not quite sure what those things really are most of the time. Except cows. And tractors. I KNOW when he’s talking about them. Of course, tractors are anything with four wheels…or more.
That’s it. Just lots of work. Oh, and J’s birthday party is Saturday, so I have to get ready for that tomorrow. Wish me luck. I haven’t even thought about a cake, yet!

Hooray for the party:)
I love what you say about J talking about what he’s interested in. Isn’t it awesome to see their little personalities come forth, even when they’re emphatically telling you NO :)
