I’m not much for glossy photo prints. They seems a little, well, garish to my senses. So, I’ve been using matte label paper for the surprise hit in my shop–address labels.
The colors are nice, but they aren’t as saturated, meaning that although they look good on some designs, the colorful Halloween designs I’m working on just needed a little more umph in the saturation area. After lots of toying with my printer, I broke down and bought yet another raft of label sheets–this time photo glossy labels.
They were expensive, but worth it. Wow, were the worth it. Details that were getting lost on the old matte sheets (like the shading on the pumpkin above) come out clearly on this new paper. I’m in love again :)
New designs using the glossy paper will be added to my Etsy shop slowly…with tonight’s Christmas offering the first to appear.

Hi Julie,
Thanks for stopping by to visit!
I like those address labels, but I like the fancy clip even more. Imagine my delight, when, upon saying to myself “Jeez, where’d she get that fab-U-lous clip?”, I scrolled down the screen a bit to find the instructions on how to make one myself?!
Thanks,
Kate
