I’m a bit bemused at this one, so I’ll let you all read it on your own.

I still think being anonymous is cowardly, even if it is to poke scientology in the eye.

Part of me gets a little chuckle out of this after all the odd Tom Cruise business, but at the same time I’m with Starfish, and it’s pretty easy to protest something with a mask on. :) I’ve read things that say they’re “afraid” to show their faces because of Scientology retribution. Strange… :)

I’m with Kat on this one.
Cool, but put yourself out there.

They’re anonymous because previous protests were followed by people being bashed in the street by strangers and anonymous tip offs to employers that their staff were involved in all sorts of criminal activity.
It would be nice to think this is crazy paranoia but unfortunately it isn’t. I know people who went to this and one of their masked friends was shown on the news getting into their car and a few weeks later had people driving past their house, throwing bottles and bricks.
Really, I think both sides are crazy.
