Recently, I was sent samples of Greenworks surface and glass cleaner from Clorox. The timing of this offer was good since I’ve been trying to modify our use of cleaning supplies around the house. J has asthma, and I understand cutting out some of the extra scents and chemicals can help keep it in check, so I’ve dabbled around with baking soda and vinegar (seperately, of course) as cleaner alternatives.
The Greenworks products are supposed to be a little greener than most cleansers. I’ve not studied the labels of other cleaners, but the Greenworks products both seem to be mostly made up of some sort of coconut product, which doesn’t seem too scary. Thank god, though, they don’t smell like coconut. It’s more of a fresh scent than sweet, which I prefer.
When we used them, they worked just as well as anything else we’ve used. They get rid of the grime well enough and didn’t streak anything. And, I guess, that’s all I need to happen–they get things clean and that’s the bottom line.

We love Method cleaning products. You can get them at Target. They come in scent free called Bare Naked.
It’s amazing how well these “alternative” cleaners work.

I’m so glad to read this! I’ve been looking around for a green cleaner that works well. I’ve tried the Method cleaners from Target, but I’m glad to hear Clorox’s work, too. :)
