Here’s my Thursday Theme: Glow post. It’s not so very glowy, but in the process of taking these shots, I’ve learned that my 50mm f/1.8 needs a lens hood badly. I know, I could make one, but I’m not that crafty. I could buy one, but they’re overpriced. So, maybe I’ll just wait a little longer. Like I’m waiting for a Sigma 70mm macro lens and a Canon 28mm f/1.8.
Happy Glow Day, everyone! Oh, yeah, click on the thumbnail above for the full photo :)

I don’t know…you’ve caught the light there. What would a lens hood do?

Very sweet! The only lens I purchased that came with a hood is my 85mm. I think it helps a little.

You’ve still got some soft glow in those pretty tendrils of hair. :) I like it. It’s a nice framing job and she looks so intent. Very pretty.

I love the shot - and it is perfect for glow!
I have a lens hood, and almost NEVER use it…I probably should in some cases, but for the most part I really prefer not having it on…
