It’s been quiet in these parts lately. I can’t quite figure out why I’m having a hard time posting, aside from the fact that we’re going through some changes around here that I’d rather wait to talk about until this weekend or so. It’s nothing horrible…and actually if it works out, it would be quite good for us all.
So, unless I can manage to get around my little mental bottleneck, I think it will be a picture week for me. Hey, here’s news–we had an early release yesterday because of snow and ice. Is that news? Well, since we’ve all heard it about eight billion times this winter, it certainly doesn’t seem like it. Unfortunately, we’re running on time this morning, so I don’t get an extra-extra long coffee break.
Wait. I don’t drink coffee…I guess it would be a Diet Coke break, but doesn’t it sound horrible that I drink Diet Coke before 7 a.m.?

I don’t drink coffee either - and have to have a diet coke with my bagel in the morning. And then a mid-morning diet coke. And then of course my diet coke with lunch. I could go on….

Diet Coke is perfectly acceptable any time of day! Our predicted “sure thing” snowfall last week was a total bust–instead of waking up to 6in of snow, we got about an inch, and really, it mostly slush! Most disappointing!

I won’t touch coffee with a ten foot pole. But Diet Coke? That I grab the SECOND I am out of bed. I consider it a drink that works well at any hour - my first one is always long consumed by 7 am!
