First, I was elsewhere yesterday and noticed that my page was showing up with a big, huge, gaping blank spot at the top, despite the fact that I though I’d gotten everything right after viewed it in Explorer, Firefox and Safari. Now, though, it seems to be gone. Are you seeing a huge-mungous gap at the top of this page? Comment if so, please–I’d appreciate it. Also, if the poll thingie on the left isn’t working for you (like, you can’t vote), let me know–I want to have it figured out before Friday. I tested it, but things just seem to work for me, which is frustrating sometimes. You’re a pal :)
Two, you’ll get sick of hearing of it, but don’t forget about the contest and the PIF exchange–I think I currently have only one taker on PIF, and I’d love a few more!
And now, with no further ado, my answers to C’s meme (C always has some of the best memes and check out who she links to–awesome stuff, myself not included, of course):
1. At what age do you wish to marry?
Already married, at 27, so that was…several years ago :)
2. What color do you like most?
Black. Love it. Slimming, you know? Although it does tend to show the gloppy stuff J just oozes and all that dog hair. Sigh.
3. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
Most of the time? Just home. Or to bed. Right now, at 1:14 a.m.? Sleep would be wonderful, but that doesn’t seem to be happening.
4. Which part of you do you hate the most?
My inability to be it all, which is impossible, but sometimes my plans are just too big.
5. When you encounter a sad moment, what would you do?
I don’t know…cry?
6. What are you afraid to lose the most?
A functioning toilet (yeah, of all the things, this is it?). No, really it would be J or T. I don’t know how I’d keep going.
7. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
$1 million isn’t as much as it used to be–pay off all debt, buy another house, start the adoption process again–maybe take time off work, if I felt we could afford it long-term!
8. What’s your wish for the year ahead?
That we all stay healthy and manage to keep our heads above water financially–maybe even, gasp, save a little :)
9. How did you celebrate the New Year?
Asleep :)
10. Till now, what is the moment that you regret the most?
Yeah, like I’m putting THAT out on the ‘net. I’m not crazy :)
11. Which type of person do you hate the most?
Fake ones. The ones who don’t acknowledge other’s contributions. Grr.
12. What is your ambition?
Right now? See #3.
13. If you had one wish what would you wish for?
Really, if it were just one, just for our health and well-being. That’s all that we really need. Well, aside from a new house and several million dollars, of course.
14. Name one of your body part your hubby or boyfriend tells you he adores:
Um…my legs? Why, I have no idea.
15. What is the best gift you can give someone this year?
For J, time. Time to play and cuddle and be a good enough mom
16. List two of your Top Ten New Year’s Resolutions.
Project365 and finishing Vol. 1 of J’s lifebook.
17. What do you need to do this year in order for you to be happier in life?
Get out more. Definitely :)
18. What are the Top 2 things that you are most thankful for the year 2007 that made you even more happier for 2008?
J, definitely number 1. Number 2? That’s hard–there’s really a lot to be thankful for, and it’s hard to narrow it down.
19. What was the best lesson you learned in 2007 (be specific)?
Flip down that diaper, fast. Showers are not a positive result of a diaper change.
20. In this very moment, are you doing what you thought you’d be doing at this stage in your life?
Pretty much. Truthfully, I’ve never been much for visualizing the future–so just the idea that I’m working, that’s good. I am surprised, though, that I’m married…for some reason, I never thought I’d be married. I’m happy about it, sure, but kind of puzzled how that all worked for a girl who couldn’t figure out how to talk to boys about anything, much less flirt. Thank God for T and his patience where I’m concerned :)
Now, I’m supposed to tag 8-10 people, but I’m going to leave that up to you. If you post this meme, let me know–I’d love to read it and certainly wouldn’t want to miss it, accidentally!

Thank you for indulging me and playing along. I think I always saw myself as being married, and now I wonder why I thought it was so important/valuable to who I was/am/will be. Life is about lessons though.

Well, I am bored (plumbers are replacing my house trap - yucky, messy, expensive, much needed repair)….so I posted my responses on my myspace page….
