I know, I don’t comment enough, but I love the luxury of catching up with some good blog reads. Here are 13 must-reads (in no particular order and definitely not all I read)–check them out if you have time!
- Round is Funny. Adoptive mom to Roo (born less than two months before J) writes about their adoption story. I love that she is still so thoughful about adoption–something I strive to be.
- Hell and High Water. After traveling to Columbia, Starfish and her husband have added a sweet little boy to their family. Starfish tells it like it is, and I love it.
- Fully Operational Battle Station. Want to laugh your ass off? Go directly to Jamie’s blog. Now. Do it!
- The Land of K.A. Can you say talent? Check out this well-written blog embellished with beautiful photos of Stacy’s kids.
- The Twinkies. First, since I have that fantasy about having twins, this is good stuff for my daydreams. Second, you’ve got to love the writing–Stacie was an English and Latin teacher, and that tells you she’s one smart woman.
- StillaMomma. If you want to get jealous about a fast adoption, read the entirety of this blog that was started in January. If you’ve been waiting for a baby for a while and just want to see gorgeous baby pictures, don’t read, just skim for photos.
- Evil Mommy. Way not evil, just out to better the world. Karen keeps me thinking with her socially-conscious topics.
- This Woman’s Work. Dawn is another of those thoughtful adoptive mamas that I love to read. Plus, she writes about life as a working writer, which I find extremely interesting.
- In the Life of. C manages to be funny, thought-provoking and wicked all at the same time. Although she’s a little under the weather right now, I’m sure she’ll be back soon with her Sunday Music Share and interesting photography.
- Chookooloonks. Even though this Karen isn’t as wordy as she used to be, she shares her gorgeous family and home with us daily.
- Momology. If you can post a picture of yourself without makeup, you deserve a mention, don’t you think?
- The New American Family. Interesting posts, well written and fun to read.
- Posie Gets Cozy. I swear, I can’t read this every day or I’d die of envy, but I love the beauty of every little thing Alicia makes.
