There’s nothing like people in your driveway at 6 am

Remember how I said we got a quote and told the roofer that he could start work on the roof soon? That was yesterday, right? Um…this morning two trucks drove into the yard at 6 am–they’re already here and already working away at the roof. I was lucky to get my car out of the garage before they plywooded up the garage door
I thought it took forever to get people to come out to your house for this stuff.

Wow.

The framers for our house arrive around 6:50 and start sawing precisely at 7:00 (so as not to annoy?) the neighbors.

Roofers come VERY early because the roof is not workable once it gets hot.
