Kleenex-eating madness

March 23rd, 2006 · 1 Comment

Why must the Ike-dog insist on running upstairs, rummaging through the bathroom wastebasket, and bringing back a newly-used Kleenex to partially consume?  And if he’s going to partially consume this Kleenex, couldn’t he have the courtesty to 1) clean his plate and eat the whole damn thing or 2) learn how to put the uneaten Kleenex back in the wastebasket?

Notice my avoidance of adoption topics?  I’m ignoring that something is going on in that area of my life so as to not get so depressed later, when I have to deal with a too-long wait and an empty room upstairs that happens to house an unused crib and a dresser with not enough 0-3 onsies but too many 3-6 onsies.

Delurking to commiserate with the kleenex-eating dog issue. What is with that? My parents’ dog likes them, too. Is it because they are salty? Chauncey likes to eat them privately in the bedroom, stewning them about our bed in a most unattractive manner.

As for the adoption wait, I hope it isn’t too unwieldy and long.
